Control Verification
First make the simulator prove every joystick direction.
DO THIS: Push the LEFT joystick FORWARD toward the windshield.

Important: Ignore the excavator for one moment. Touch anywhere in the LEFT joystick area and slide your thumb toward WINDSHIELD.
LEFT STICK
Forward = stick OUT
Back = stick IN
Left/right = swing
RIGHT STICK
Forward = boom DOWN
Back = boom UP
Left = bucket CURL
Right = bucket DUMP
Touch Assist: put your thumb anywhere inside either large control area and slide. You do not have to grab the handle. The visible stalk now follows your thumb in the SAME direction: slide right → joystick leans right; slide left → joystick leans left. Direction assist still snaps slightly imperfect movements to the intended axis.
